“House of ARMS” is a 30-bed facility owned and managed under the umbrella of 1441, Incorporated, a nonprofit community-based organization, serving men aged 18 or older in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Our primary goal is to provide transitional living opportunities and services/programs for those struggling to overcome issues with Addiction, Reentry, Homelessness and barriers to receive mental health services. We offer a very structured program specifically geared for those in need of structured services/programs in a safe, nurturing environment where they can receive the tools needed to inspire, motivate and give them sustaining hope to face life’s obstacles determined to be successful and goal driven productive citizens. Our doors are open wide to the general population, returning citizens and veterans.

“House of ARMS” is here for you. We will conduct an individualized intake assessment of each client to identify needs and develop structured action plans to meet those needs. We will work in close partnership with established public and private companies and organizations to ensure that our client population is given access to the services/programs needed for success in life and we will actively advocate getting all barriers to services removed.
Before considering House of ARMS, remember all phases are very structured regardless of why you are here. Yes, we do accept walk-ins applications, as well as, agency referrals. The four (4) phases of our program are --
Phase 1- offers strictly Transition living opportunities/space, programs and services to any client who has income and who is a returning citizens, homelessness, or whom has some form of mental or physical disability. Medication disbursement is offered in a safe and structured environment. We assist with applying for Medicaid, Medicare, Disability Benefits, Social Security Benefits, Housing Referral, Counseling, Training Opportunities, and Job
Phase 2- offers an Addiction component that is done in-house through the “Wraparound Services Concept Model” (Therapeutic Counseling, Encounter Sessions, Certified Addiction Counselors, Case Management Team, Clinical Team (Nurse/Dr. on site). The addiction component is a highly structured, and a very intense program. There is no room for excuses only “Your Success”. “House of ARMS” is here to see you through to full recovery. We assist with applying for Medicaid, Medicare, Disability Benefits, Social Security Benefits, Housing Referral, Counseling, and Job referral.
Phase 3 - offers a Reentry component that connects men who were released from incarceration to resources that pairs them with a successful mentor with the goal of helping them to transition into productive citizens. The House of ARMS will provide services and connect men to a variety of skill enhancement, character building and decision making training models to make a strong bridge as they cross over into positive, productive and progressive. We assist with applying for Medicaid, Medicare, Disability Benefits, Social Security Benefits, Housing Referral, Counseling, and Job referral.
Phase 4 - offers a Mental Health component that connects clients to the proper services needed according to their intake assessment form. Each client will be provided a case manager and clinical team that will provide quality services/programs tailored to his or her needs. Every effort will be made to ensure that clients maintain their medication regiment as prescribed by their physician. “House of ARMS” will connect clients with the proper resources and tools that will help them to excel in their life goals. We will assist with applying for Medicaid, Medicare, Disability Benefits, Social Security Benefits, Housing Referral, Counseling, and Job referral.
